Why Join ATFE?
New Members are Welcome! – Membership in ATFE is drawn primarily from member schools of the Association of Theological Schools but is open to anyone committed to ATFE’s purposes by reason of involvement in a ministry of supervision, formation programs, higher education, or denominational responsibilities.
The Association for Theological Field Education welcomes you and encourages you to share the joy of partnership and friendship with many faithful and gifted colleagues. You may join ATFE as an institutional member or an independent or emeritus member. Independent membership is open only to members who are not affiliated with a theological school. Dues cover membership for one years, up to and including the biennial consultation.
Associate membership is open to individuals or institutions, usually outside the United States and Canada, who request to have a relationship with the Association for Theological Field Education. Such individuals or institutions will be on the mailing list, invited to meetings and have voice but shall have no vote and hold no office. Applications for associate relationship shall be considered and approved by the Steering Committee. Dues for US Associate Members is the same as US members; dues for all others is currently the same as dues for Canadian members. Simply fill out a membership form in the appropriate category (institutional, independent, emeritus).
